International traveler has once again made the hard side bag affordable by people of more modest means. The hard sided bag is not just more durable but it also adds additional security over soft sided bags. These new bags do not require an internal frame that tends to steal room away from the things you need to pack.
The space in a suitcase is often rather important since many airlines now charge a fee to check in each piece of luggage you are carrying. The best way to reduce this cost when traveling is to use as much of the space you have in your suitcase as possible. The hard sided bag provides you with the ability to make optimal use of the space since there is not heavy framing that gets in the way.
Another way to save money on the cost of your luggage is to have a carryon bag and a check on bag. If you can limit yourself to these two bags you will be able to reduce the cost of checking on bags. Many airlines allow you to have a check on bag and a personal item. This personal item may be a purse or lap top computer.
While there are size restrictions associated with carryon bags there are bags produced by International Traveler luggage that fits this purpose.
